The straw that broke the camel's back

I'm a long time waiting to start a blog.Donncha O' Caoimh looked at me sideways at the first Barcamp I attended in Waterford, when I told him I didn't have one.

Still, I wouldn't get carried away. I'll most likely get bored or run out of time. But this post about mapping with jquery, mapstraction and microformats convinced me. I needed to put all this stuff together with the power of Drupal. I needed to work out how to do it.And I needed to do it in public.Half of the battle is admitting you have a problem. Well my problem is all reading and very little coding and experimenation. This post is a reminder that I need to change that. The plan is to use the content of the 24 ways article to power some Drupal pages, with the objective of simply learning how its done.Normally I'd wait for the Drupal module, or jquery plugin to appear, but not this time. This time I'll work it out for myself. And anybody else who stumbles across my random postings....
